OUR VISION
Diverso is a nonprofit organization, by students and for students, dedicated to changing
the face of entertainment by empowering the next generation of underrepresented storytellers.
Systemic issues like diversity and accessibility must be addressed with systemic solutions. Here at Diverso, we understand that in order for real, long-term change to occur in our industry, people need to be empowered and exposed to career paths very early on in their development. Namely, at the student-level.
We are a group of impassioned students dedicated to lifting other young diverse talents into Hollywood.
We change the lives of talented diverse students by offering an extensive professional platform to break into entertainment by connecting them to top companies/executives/mentors and providing individualized guidance for career development.

Diverso's organizational structure is a multigenerational two-pronged approach to developing diverse talent.
On one hand, we empower student writers and filmmakers. On the other hand, our teammates gain invaluable development, managerial, and producing experience.

There is constant reassessment and reflection of our processes, systems, and culture to best achieve our goals.
Changemaking
Real systemic change does not happen overnight. We're in this for the long haul as an organization that will live for decades.
Generations of future diverse entertainment professionals and artists will all be connected as Diverso alumni.

As an organization, we greatly value autonomy: any teammate has the agency to ideate, pitch, and build projects from the ground up.
