Sara Elisa Miller is director of philanthropy and special projects for Lin-Manuel Miranda and his family. Previously, Sara developed programs for the dean of the Columbia University School of Social work and was the director of development for a non-profit working in food systems preservation in Pennsylvania. She is grateful for having begun her professional career at Blue Hill Restaurant in New York City, where she learned about hospitality, sustainability, farming, management, and how to solve problems in a hurry. She lives in Pennsylvania with her family. Sara holds a BA from Wesleyan University and an MSc. in Urban Planning from Columbia University.
