Grace Joung is a first generation Korean-American student currently studying English and Film & Media Studies as a double major in the Honors program at the University of California, Irvine. As an aspiring director and screenwriter, she is interested in narratives centered around identity, belonging, love, healing, and diasporic experiences. Professionally, Grace has taught English overseas, served on the board for UCI Women In Film, and currently mentors first year students as a Resident Advisor while simultaneously working for UCI Libraries. When she isn't writing or watching movies, you can find her curled up with a book or working on storyboards and pitch decks for her upcoming creative projects.
